Mary Janet Rozzano, RSM, is currently retired and living in Burlingame, California. Her ministries have included teaching and administration in secondary education, service on the former Burlingame Community leadership team, and chaplaincy work with older adults. She holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from San Jose State University. Janet has also been active for many years in the LGBTQ+ community, offering support and education, and writing several essays published by New Ways Ministry. She offers a unique liturgical ministry to her local Mercy community. Over the years has been the one to compose the welcoming service for deceased members, prepare the order of the funeral Mass, and deliver the reflection.
